Ask your neighbors what they have. You probably have the same system. If you are on city water and you receive a water bill there should be a separate charge for sewer if you have one. If you are on a septic tank, there will be a drain field where the grass grows longer or stays greener in dry weather. I don’t know about a cesspit.
