Unblocking sewage line?

I hope someone can help here.

One of my toilets is continuously blocking. I was told by a plumber to pour pool acid down the line to break the blockage. It is not the longest term solution.

Does anyone know of an easy inexpensive way to solve this problem.
Something I just though of. The last plumber I spoke to said he thinks there might be a leak in the line somewhere. Could that possibly be causing the problem? I’m thinking along the lines of vacuum.

you can go buy a snake at the hardware store see if you can unblock it that way.

If only one toilet is blocking, then the main drainline should be clear, That means the blockage is confined to just the line from the toilet to the mainline. I agree a snake is a good idea, it sounds like you might have something obstructing the toilet and may be the toilet itself is at fault. What I have tried in the past is using bleach in the toilet and letting it sit overnight . CAUTION!!!
do NOT use bleach if there is a chance the muriatic acid suggested is still in the line. If you have munchkins in the house, it is possible a small foreign object may be inside the toilet itself. The solution is to pull the toilet and see if you can remove it. If not, get down to Lowes and buy a new john for 100-1000 dollars and replace it.
Sorry if I seem to be all over the place, but there are a lot of possible answers to the symptoms you present!!
    Good luck

We had one toilet that only got blocked too. After trying many things, we HAD to get an electric snake from the hardware store. It was by then a long way out but we got it.

(I found out that my boys were curious about tampons! They wanted to see how big they got. So, they kept putting them in the toilet. About 10 all at once. Then flushed! When the snake came back, I knew immediately what it was. But my hubby didn’t. I played dumb. He was so mad already. I still haven’t told him. And my oldest boy is in the Marines now and the second boy will be leaving in a few months for the Marines. Then, I will tell him. LOL )

First thing I would do is remove the toilet and make sure the plastic part on the wax seal is not bent and blocking the hole. It will also be easier to snake the pipe if the toilet is removed.
