Which plugs go best with coach screws?
Often confused with coach bolts that fasten with a nut, a coach screw is a hexagonal headed (hex) heavy-duty woodscrew, generally used to fasten heavy timber into position, for example when installing gates and fences.
You can use coach screws to fasten timber to masonry, but you must use a nylon wall plug.
Select our nylon wall plugs which are grey in colour and choose a size that is 2mm larger in diameter than the coach screw itself.
