Level invert chambers are often used when the installer has little fall to play with on the pipe run, such as when connecting a new section of drainage to an existing pipe run. A standard mini access chamber has an integral fall from the side inlet to the base, and this can take up valuable height when trying to minimise the fall on the new pipe.
This level invert chamber base has two side inlets set at 45 degrees to the main channel. The side inlets are blanked off with push fit blanking plugs. This enables the installer to remove only the plugs that are required, leaving any unused inlets safely sealed.
Please note this base should only be used in conjunction with CDU354 riser and CD356 cover and frame.
Inspection Chamber Components
Whilst most customers generally order inspection chambers as sets (base, risers and cover) there are often occasions when it is easier to order the chamber in its individual components. This allows for greater flexibility on site, for example where the final drainage layout is likely to differ from that suggested in the plans, or where the finished ground levels are subject to change.
All of these components can be interchanged with the relevant chamber sets, so if you are simply looking for an additional riser then you are in the right place! Just make sure that the manufacturers of each are the same, as chamber bases and risers from different manufacturers are rarely interchangeable.
